Olivia loves blue. More than she did when we moved in almost 5 years ago. So I chose the pink and the gorgeous mural that Amber painted for us and I loved it. Her furniture is from the Disney Princess Collection so you know, it was time for something more growny. Again, we bought her loft bed from Craigslist and repainted it a grey color (combined chalk paint and latex and also used a Creme Wax to finish it – product details on Pinterest). We took the terrible shades down that never worked and replaced them with white wooden blinds which opened it up a ton, moved her tv, painted, got a new rug, lots of wall stuff, new knobs on the furniture that we refinished (knobs from Home Goods), and a few other accessories. New bedding from Land of Nod, sheets are Tommy Bahama sheets but from Home Goods again (and they feel awesome).
About the blue, Jon & I sat in Home Depot or Lowes looking at all these blues and finally picked one that he thought was perfect and I thought was loud but its what she wanted I knew. Funny thing, its the same color my parents have on the ceiling under their porches (everything else is white) on the exterior of their home-how we looked through hundreds and picked that is kind of funny. It is called Tahitian Breeze. The wall art is from Hobby Lobby (they were having an awesome 50% off sale before Christmas), white deer head from Greyson’s room, yellow flower canvas is something I shot and had printed that she has always liked, shell shadowbox is something she and I did, letters from Pottery Barn, and mirrored dresser from Home Goods.
Hers was the last room and I can tell you that I painted it in record time-honestly I wish I had time lapsed her room because it came together quickly. A woman on a mission is nothing to mess with I assure you.

I tried to put most of what I could on Pinterest because I know I will get questions so you can check the board out HERE (all rooms combined on one board-sorry folks!)
