day forty-two {threesixtyfive} macro water drops take 2 (with pullback)

I could not stop til I got this right….I changed my lens (to a 24 mm f/1.4 Canon L so I had a shorter minimum focus distance) and changed my number and position of light sources. There are set-up pictures at the end! Yaaayyyy!

And the set-up…taken with my Sony NEX-5 by Olivia

I was playing with this the other day too but mine turned out terrible. Yours look awesome! I need to try again. I think I am just using the wrong lens when I am trying this. What settings did you have your camera set at? I was able to get the drops in my photos but not the clear image within the drop. Help? LOLReplyCancel

You can do it! let me know how it turns out…I think my secret to success was the wide angle lens because, like a macro, it allowed me to get closer because it has a shorter minimum focus so if you have a wide angle go for it. You see how close I was able to get? If you saw the mcp actions tutorial she was quite a ways away and that didn’t work for me!ReplyCancel
